John Giuliani has been affiliated with the Lake Superior State University for over 20 years. In 2007, with thanks for the help that John Giuliani has had into the program, the aquatics lab stocked 23,000 yearling atlantic salmon into the river under Johns name. Called the 2007 John Giuliani class stock of atlantic salmon. John is the only Canadiaan every to receive that reward.
